Fountain House Gallery Presents “Small Works: $100 & Under”
On view: November 1 – December 21, 2018 / Reception: November 1, 6-8 p.m.
NEW YORK CITY – Fountain House Gallery, located at 702 Ninth Avenue and representing artists living with mental illness, announces the upcoming show, “Small Works: $100 & Under.” The exhibition will open with a Reception on November 1, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and will remain on view through December 21, 2018.
This annual show features dozens of small-scale works, sized at 6 by 6 inches or less and priced at $100 or under. Pieces can be purchased “off the wall” and fit conveniently in a tote bag or briefcase. Among the mediums represented are collage and mixed media, acrylic and watercolor painting, digital art and photography, and paper weaving and fiber pieces. New this year: Ceramics, jewelry, and holiday ornaments are included in the mix.
