Lyn Barlotta studied painting, sculpture and design at Vancouver School of Art in Canada. Upon her return to New York City, she furthered her studies, including classes in photography, at the School of Visual Arts. While continuing to study painting and photography, Lyn graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Film Arts. Having developed an interest in new media, she attended NYU's Center for Advanced Digital Applications (CADA) and acquired a Certificate of Completion in 3D Computer Animation. For many years, she held staff positions in video post-production and freelanced as a photographer. A multi-faceted artist, Lyn shoots short films and Urban Landscape photographs, paints in acrylic and oil, and works in 3D computer digital applications to create images and animation. She plays guitar, sings and writes songs, and is working on a screenplay. She has exhibited and sold her artwork at various Outsider art venues. Lyn's work has been presented at Fountain House Gallery in numerous group shows and in the 2004 solo exhibition Painted Songs.
